Annie & The MIXERS are new to the scene but Annie was formerly with the award winning band “Black Moon” for over 17 years, as their lead singer. (Country band, Classic Rock and some Blues) When Annie was singing with Black Moon her band won best Country Band with the Hartford Advocate i n 2004 & 2007.
Annie has won many awards with the CT Country Music Association for “Best Female Vocalist” and “Best Female Entertainer” over the past 17 years. (1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2006)
When Annie was in The Black Moon Band her and her band warmed up the stage for such Nashville recording artists as Brooks & Dunn, Patty Loveless, Toby Keith and recently two newcomers to the music scene; The Jenkins and Jace Everett.
Annie even won a contest with Country 92.5fm to sing the national anthem at the Meadows Music center in Hartford, CT for their annual Great American Music Fest. She was chosen over 500 other entries and sang after, Patty Loveless and was followed by John Michael Montgomery.
